We are M50 the band, a 4 - piece band performing mainly covers of popular malayalam songs. We also cover tamil, telungu and hindi. The band consists of 4 instrumentalists and 3 singers.
We started preforming in 2023 and has performed in all major southindian festivals and around 20 private gigs. Our most popular song being an all indian mash up and we continually update our set list to match the audience vibe.
We can also provide Pa and lighting.

Venue with a stage that is large enough to accommodate the instruments, lights and other equipment's are preffered. Sufficient power outlets will be required close to the stage. 4 parking spaces for 3 cars and a van ( if hiring light and sound from us).

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music. however, we do not provide DJs.
The best gig we have done is the Kerala house carnival 2024 for around 600 people. the best venue we have worked with is the Church of Scientology in Firhouse, dublin.
We love playing at all sorts of events but out door festivals and private gigs are our favourite ! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing.
We started gigging in 2023 for summer festivals in Cork and Dublin. From then we have performed in more than 20 events all around Ireland. We have also performed with Indian Idol finalists in Dublin and performed for a South Indian movie promotion.
Our main inspiration is Pragati Band and Thaikuddam bridge from Kerala, Ks Harishankar, Sid Sreeram, Anirudh, Sushin Shyam, Jassie Gift, Dabzee and Ar Rahman.
If hiring Light and sound, We require 3 hours to set up. The band will require minimum 45 mins for set up and sound check. More time we get, more quality for the performance. We Normally perform for 1 and half hours - 2 hours, which suits the audience.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for outdoor stage set up minimum 8m length, a flat level surface and power supplys close to the performance area.
Clients can request songs that they want played before hand, the earlier we know the better.
Previous customers would describe us as a high energy group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing and cheering.
No, Out door PA and lighting needs to be organized by the Client, unless the event is small (under 200 people) and private premisis.
