Well, that's a tough one. So many good ones. I thoroughly enjoyed the times I was blessed to headline at UIC Pavillion in Chicago, where artists like the Grateful Dead, The Cure, Jimmy Page, Phish, Sam Smith, Tiesto and other top artists have performed. I love singing solos to a packed house. The energy is tremendous. I also enjoyed my performances at the Taste of Chicago and the Chicago Theatre. I'm a born and raised Chicagoan, in case you couldn't tell ;)
Concerts. I love performing for a fully attentive audience who I can pour my soul into. A darkened house and the stage lights allow me to truly disappear into the music without distraction, connecting with the music and taking the audience along for the journey.
Began before I could walk and talk. Modeling at birth, TV commercials by 3, Broadway by 7.
Another impossible question to answer. I love and am influenced by all music, but I'm mostly moved by music that digs deeper, into the soul. Which I then bring to the audiences I serve. Like sharing a warm meal. For male artists there are too many influences to name. My favorite female artist would have to be Karen Carpenter because her delivery is so natural and relaxed. Like your mom or an old friend. She's also a fellow drummer, so she gets a soft spot in my heart. Too many songs I love, including my own. Could never pick just one. I wouldn't want to hurt their feelings :)
I usually allow an hour before and after depending one what equipment I provide and what equipment the client provides
No, not really, lol. Especially in the Florida heat. AC is ACE with me :) But, when necessary I'll gladly do it with a smile on and a great attitude (for a small fee ;) cuz I'm a professional.
Yes and Yes. Clients certainly may have a say in what we perform provided we are given enough notice (typically at least a month or more before the event) and there is usually an additional fee for special requests that are not already on our set list. Special requests may seem simple, but they actually require a lot of work. First the songs must be located, then learned - both music and lyrics, often the key must be transposed and it must be prepared so that we can perform it excellently. All of this takes time and work, which we are more than willing to do provided we have enough time, and additional fees may need to be charged. We are a family friendly artist, so some songs may be declined or altered, as necessary. We reserve the right to decline special requests for any reason, so we recommend clients contact us prior to booking if there are any special requests desired.
WOW!
