We are Platform 1, originally from West Wales but now Bristol based ! We have gigged with a bass player and drummer for the full band sound but due to recent changes in the band we are returning to just the two of us for a while.
Our songs are all self penned , lyrics that are about life , love and experiences, sometimes poignant sometimes more upbeat and often telling a story , our sound has been described as original ,combining electric , acoustic with a soulful voice
What we offer is music in an acoustic style which is mellow and relaxed and on occasions ,upbeat and tailored to both audience and venue . Often we are joined by a fiddle player Rebecca.
We are happy to do covers , tailor our set and are able to perform in Welsh
Josh and I are seasoned, professional performers playing in a variety of venues in West Wales and Bristol and small festivals such as Brecon Fringe, Radnor Fringe Festival and Folk on the Lawn to name but a few.
We enjoy smaller, more intimate gigs as it allows us to share the stories behind our songs and connect to our audience.
We love to perform live and are always looking for new opportunities to share our music

It usually takes us around 20 minutes to 30 minutes to set up (closer to 30 if using our own PA)
Our main performance times are x2 45 minute sets but we can be flexible.
