Martina begins her studies of Middle Eastern dance at the age of 15 in the province of Bari, Italy. She joines the Paola Brescia Samira’s Academy of Oriental Dance, studies and performes in the Raks Sharki and Scarlet Mandrake fusion project in Apulia (belly dance mixed with metal music, gypsy dance, tango, electro music and dubstep), performing in prestigious events such as Gipsyland and at the Petruzzelli Theatre. She competes in the international festival "Stelle d'Oriente" of the teacher Aziza Abdul Ridh (Turin). She also has the opportunity to study with teachers like Gaia Scuderi (Arabic expressive dance), Khaled Mahmoud (Egypt), Samara Hyatt (Spain), David Habram (Argentina), Saida Helou (Argentina), Alina Babayan (Armenia), Sandy D'Ali (Italy), Aida Bogomolova (Russia).
In 2019 she starts studying with Afrika Marco (Spain) and joines her dance company in Florence. In 2022 she studies with Yasmin Falzon al Masriya (Malta), performs at the Teatru Manoel, the third oldest theatre in Europe. Martina, with her choreographies and independent preparation, wins: third place in the professional category of BellyHope 2020, and third place in the BellyHope Puglia 2023 competition, first place in the oriental fusion professional category at the 2023 Reinas Festival by Zayra Said, with the award Alex Escandar and is selected in the company of the teacher Saida Helou, winning the title of Miss Belly Reina by Saida. Martina continues to dance at events all over Italy and abroad, we remember the experience as a performer for the Grandi Navi Veloci motorboat.
In 2023 Martina studies in Egypt with Carola Marucchi’e project, studying with masters such as Ahmed Refaat, Ahmed Abd Elrazik, Hany Morgan, Dodo Badr Mohamed and Zaza. In 2024, Martina becomes certified teacher with Sara Pappalardo's method.
