Mental Blue (real name Roland Budin) is a music producer, songwriter, composer & DJ born in Munich / Germany, currently living and producing in Croatia.
His love for electronic music started in the Munich underground scene when the techno moment started to be a 'thing' in the late 80s and beginning of 90s. His vibes are routed in the sounds of Berlin's Loveparade Festival. Even though he dedicated years of his life to a corporate management job, he never lost his passion about music production and DJing and stayed active. Later on he left the corporate lifestyle and dedicated himself to music.
Unlike many DJs that later on started their career as music producer, Roland started his passion with music production and later on, DJing seemed to be another logical step.
Worldwide collaborations with Grammy awarded artists such as David Longoria from Los Angeles launched his remix artistry into the worldwide scene. A remix production and collaboration with April Diamond placed him on the top 30 of the official American Billboard Dance Club Charts. Others to mention are collaborations with Larissa Lam, Nick Cold and Mara Klang from Switzerland, collaboration with La'Ralpheal from Virginia Hampton as well with DJ and singer Adrianna Edwards and many more...
