Metabolism (Metabs), born as Lukhanyo Mlandu from Cape Town South Africa. He began his musical Journey as a Rapper in 19 94 and made his transition in 2010 to also being a DJ. He found his inspiration from his fellow group member, Legendary Big Dre who started one of the first African Hip-Hop radio shows with Shaheen from Prophets of the City (POC).
He has already had the privilege of working with the likes of Akil the Mc (Jurassic 5, USA), Wordsworth (EMC, USA), Jonzi D (UK), Double AB (USA) DJ EAZY (Goodhope radio, South Africa), Host of Uppercut Radio and Golden Era (South Africa), Creator of Lyric District (South Africa) to name a few.
Since moving to Berlin in 2019, he quickly made his mark in some of the underground Hip Hop events, holding a residency at Panke in Wedding for Deck2Deck (2019-2021), Played at Yaam for High Five - A Journey Through Hip Hop Culture Festival (2019), Annual Ring Di Alarm (Bremen 2019). A regular at Swag Jam (2019-2022), Cafe Wendel for Hityawitthat (2020-2022)
