Michela Musco Italian singer and pianist based in Paris, performing songs of all music styles

Michela is an Italian pop and jazz singer but also a light coloratura soprano. She is based in Paris.

During her recitals, she offers a repertoire (piano-voice but also accompanied by other musicians) that covers many musical styles.

With her brother Alessandro Musco, saxophonist, she participated, in 1989 and 1990, in programs on Italian television RAI1 such as Ieri, Goggi and Domani, presented by Loretta Goggi, Gran Premio dello Spettacolo, talent show bringing together the 200 best talents (out of 12,000 applications) of the Italian artistic scene (dance, music, theater ...) presented by Pippo Baudo and Ci Siamo, presented by Gigi Sabani.

Since 1988, she has participated in numerous festivals, competitions and events: "Voci e Volti Nuovi Castrocaro", "Aoste Jazz Festival", "En Découvrance", "Grand Prix de la Chanson Française Yves Montand", "Le Mans Cité Chansons", "Musiqu'en Fleur", "Sacro Sono", "Natale in Abbazia", "Estate Spoletina"...

Arrived in France in 1994, she began studying lyrical singing with Elisabeth Blasco, Laurence Malherbe, Philippe Gortari and with the voice technician Sophie Lair.

In 2005 she won the 2nd Prize for Excellence in Lyrical Art at the Léopold Bellan International Competition and in 2006 she became a laureate in lyrical singing in the same competition.

In 2007, she obtained the diplom in lyrical singing, with honors and congratulations from the jury.

She has had the privilege to sing for the M° Giancarlo Menotti, on the occasion of his anniversary gala during Festival dei due mondi, in Spoleto.

Michela was a soloist in the Fantasy in C Major by L. Van Beethoven under the direction of the M° Bruno Garlej and interpreted the role of the Queen of the Night in the Magic Flute by W.A. Mozart, under the direction of Christiane Issarteel.

In 2009 she created the show Vocalises on the history of jazz, a musical-comedy show that covers the most beautiful standards of jazz.

She has collaborated with the band Coverqueen for the legendary duet "Monserrat Caballé/Freddy Mercury) for concerts at Eurodisney, Petit Journal Montparnasse, Fête de la Musique de Nice, Le Bataclan for the big evening tribute to Freddy Mercury...

Since 2016, numerous collaborations with the event organizer Massimo Gargia for lyrical recitals during the gala parties he organizes: Children for Peace (Tuileries, 2018 and 2019), his birthday gala (Hotel de Paris, Saint Tropez – 2017), but also private parties in prestigious places such as the Meurice, the Four Seasons, the Salon Hoche, the Cercle de l’Union Interallié, Hermès... or restaurants such as Le Music-Hall Paris, Il Settimo, La Romantica and many others for mini-acoustic recitals around the most beautiful airs and songs from the Italian repertoire.

On June 2, 2019 she was invited by the Italian vice-consul in French Guiana, for a recital organized for Italian expatriates, on the occasion of the Italian Republic Day.

Since 2019 she sings la Marseillaise at the start of Deauville Marathon.

Today she performs for concerts and events alone or with other musicians and singers.
