I will need to be near to a power connection if amplification is necessary.

I will need to know what type of venue I will be expected to play at. Outdoors or indoors etc.

I am able to provide basic sound equipment if it is necessary. The sound equipment is only really suitable very relatively small venues. If the venue is rather large extra equipment will need to be hired.

I will be happy to provide an iTunes service between sets but not a DJ service.

I really enjoyed performing at the Gandia International Film Festival. My role was to promote the event by performing various pieces of classic film music. The atmosphere was relaxed and the spectators were obviously interested in the event.

I prefer to play in low key events where I provide an ambience rather than a solo performance.

I studied music at University and have been a school teacher for most of my life. I am now focussing on performing at events as a guitarist.

I love to listen to variety of music but as a player I have been influenced by the likes of Andre Segovia, John Williams, Julian Bream and more recently David Russell. I particularly love the music of Tarrega but I also include a large amount of Jazz standards arranged for Classical Guitar in my repertoire.

Setup will depend on the setting:

Standard setup will be; amplifier and guitar.

If the venue is larger a small PA will be provided by the artist.

I am happy to perform outside if there is sufficient shelter from the sun or the elements in general such as rain or wind.

My repertoire list is pretty much fixed but if I have sufficient time to prepare, I may be able to include some music which a client would like to hear.

Previous clients have been very pleased with the service I provide. They have commented on the the choice of music being very appropriate, relaxing and that it provides a pleasant atmosphere to the event that is being celebrated.
