Nadia Koz Experiment Solo, duo, full band. variety 1920s to now! private events, festivals, any size!

Nadia Koz Experiment is the name of all iterations of my performances- I am a professional full time musician (rythm/lead guitar and lead vocalist) from Williamsburg VA, have been gigging professionally for 7 years, with it being my full-time job for the past 5. I play solo, with a duo, or as a full 4 piece band. When I'm solo I use a looper and effects to layer my songs and am able to improvise over them, making it full and fun to hear even at a small event. The band just becomes a Big, full sound with great musicians who accompany and add an amazing , dynamic sound that I'm grateful to be a part of. My music ranges a century, I play 20's swing and 30's blues and jazz standards, ray Charles/BB King esque blues, Motown, soul, outlaw country and Americana, but there's a huge fusion of combining the old gypsy jazz style of music with newer sound like funk, rock, pop and r&b and dancy unique cover versions that you will love and know but still hear as a new experience. Solo or especially as the band, we enjoy improvisation, each member is equally capable and we all kind of take turns (in small doses) to add a unique solo. My sound is perfect for weddings, parties, big events, small events, because we're a variety band and I personally have a strong suit of adapting and interacting with each different audience. So I'm able to read what each crowd seems to enjoy and can play to their taste. Requests are encouraged, we play legitimately classic well known hits from the 60s 70s 80s 90s and today. Then there is also original music that is best described as soul folk or funk pop:)
