Yes, (I/We) are completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all gigs.
Yes, we are happy to play music from Spotify during our gig break if necessary but typically a music act entertains for the set time only, then packs up to leave from the venue.
On February 9, 2024 We ( The Soulful Duo) consisted of Jazz guitarist John R. Lewis and I were the opening act for recording artist, Kevin Howard at Little Ferry Inn at 5pm in King George, Virginia !!!The music was wonderful and the mansion was fabulous!!!

I have been singing/performing/ gigging since I was seventeen years of age. I have been a member of various bands. I got my start with my brother , recording artist Tyrone Brunson ( look him up on YouTube).
I am influenced by Sarah Vaughn, Nina Simone, Etta James, Dionne Warwick, Dinah Washington, Nancy Wilson, Leslie Ugandan, Angela Bofil, Phyllis Hyman, and Diana Krall! These are all of my favorites! My favorite song is “Embrace Me”!
Set up thirty minutes for singing with tracks

I am happy to perform outside but ask for covering from challenging sun rays! I need power accessible to me outside. I need plenty of water to drink in the spring and summer events.
I cannot sing per song request. I will always come prepared with my very own set list !
Previous customers would describe me(us) as soulful, smooth, cool, jazzy, sexy, melodic music to the ears!
One restaurant did not allow me to plug my PA system up. Why? We never knew why.
