Not2Series - Songs from Movies and TV Series is both a Four Piece Party Band and an acoustic Duo based in Rome.
We play songs from movies and TV Shows, from the most iconic and classic to the newest and more sophisticated ones. Our repertoire comprehends around 100 songs with different styles and genres: pop, jazz, soul, blues, rock, from the 70s to the 2000s.
A few examples are: tunes from Money Heist, A Star Is Born, Bohemian Rhapsody, Stranger Things, Notting Hill and many more!
Our performance is entertaining, funny and danceable, suitable to all ages and events or parties & festivals related to cinema and TV shows and beyond.
What sets us apart from other bands is our choice of songs. We pick popular songs from movies and TV series and perform them in our own unique style. This brings a sense of familiarity to our performances while simultaneously providing listeners with a fresh take on their favorite tunes. Whether it's a gripping theme song from a popular TV series or a touching melody from a blockbuster movie, we take these familiar tunes and infuse them with our own unique sound. It's an interesting experiment that bridges the gap between screen and stage, offering guests, family & friends a new way to experience their favorite on-screen moments.
We've been performing in Rome and all-around Italy both as a duo and as a band in live gigs and private events. We can provide music for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and party after dinner!
Our Band set comprehends female vocals, guitar + male vocals, bass and drums; we can add keyboards, saxophone trumpet or other elements for bigger events and stages.
We can also offer music for Ceremony with Cello, Strings, Classic Guitar etc.
Our duo set comprehends: male vocals + guitar and loop station, female vocals + tambourine and loop station.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue and what time the venue closes; if there are stairs/ramps to reach the spot we're supposed to perform and any other useful information.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music. We can also provide DJ service on top of the Main Band booking (quoted separately).
We performed during a summer festival in Rome at Snodo Mandrione! It was amazing to entertain the audience singing along and dancing!
We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and by playing tunes from movies and TV shows we usually bridge the gap between screen and stage, offering guests a new way to experience their favorite on-screen moments!
We started gigging in 2019 as an acoustic duo, then we formed the Band and our performances developed from there. Since we started we’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across Italy.
We are influenced by Lady Gaga, Muse, Queen but also Prince, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and many more! Their iconic music have always been a crowd favourite, and we love incorporating their hits into our sets.

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level and dry surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 3/4 songs. The clients are welcome to suggest their favorite music and artists from our repertoire; we usually pick our setlist according to the clients' taste and read the room during the day of the event, so we can make appropriate changes on the go to keep the audience engaged.
They would describe us as a high energy group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing!
Sure you can pick your favorite songs and also tell us what genres and artists you like and dislike and we'll make sure we'll play those tunes. We reserve the chance to make slight changes to the setlist during the day of the event by reading the room temperature, so the audience is always engaged and entertained.
Yes, we can play up to 3/4 special songs e.g. for entrance, first dance and cake cutting etc.; we need to receive these requests within 30 days from the day of the event to prepare them properly. If you want to listen to your special songs exactly as you remember it, with no adaptation or musical arrangement, we can play those specific songs from a playlist.
