I’m an international saxophonist Olha Lakantseva (Olly Sax) from Ukraine. I’ve been playing this gorgeous instrument for 14 years, and my performing experience currently is more than 12 years of playing in a various collectives — as a member of jazz big-band, orchestras, quartets, duo, cover-bands, with DJs.
I have big experience of working on different events and venues, starting from a romantic date only for two — to a big stage with crowd of thousands! For last 8 years I’m working worldwide (India, Cambodia, Switzerland, Maldives, Vietnam, Cyprus). During this time I took part in musicals, music and dance shows, TV Shows, festivals, numerous concerts and various events.
Recently I cooperated with different luxury brands and companies, such as Bentley, Oppo, Moen, Mövenpick, Hyatt Regency, City of Dreams Mediterranean.
Events Highlights
I have played on such large-scale evens as the launch of the Centre of European Policy in Ukraine (2016). Next year I played for opera diva and Ambassador of Peace in honour of awarding her the titles "Mrs Europe" and "Mrs United Nations Earth" as the most beautiful woman of the planet!
I performed as a solo saxophonist in musical shows (Viva X’mas 2018), big celebrations and awards ceremonies (Global Iconic Awards 2019), TV concerts (PNN Live - Ganzberg Uber Concert 2020), numerous weddings and other events.
In addition to that, I participated in the first-ever international kite festival in Cambodia “SkyFest 2023” and also was honoured to represent my country at biennial cultural festival “Europe Village” in Hanoi.
Instrumental Music
I am playing in such music styles as smooth jazz, pop, lounge, dance and Latin music, lately I've started combining saxophone with dancing.
So my performance can perfectly complement the atmosphere of any event, I can create a perfect mood for you and your guests!

The duration of the performance at the wedding ceremony or on welcoming usually is 30-60 minutes, depending on the organisation and the concept of the event.
As for another events or hotel / venue performances, normally I perform 2 x 45 minutes sets / 3 x 30 minutes sets, but of course this can be discussed and arranged according to the client's request.
Performance outside is possible in a mild climate with the sun/rain protection and a power supply close to the performance area, preferably on a flat level surface. If the weather conditions are too extreme (too hot or too cold) or windy, it's always a good idea to have a backup plan or an alternatively arranged indoor space for the performance.
I can prepare specific songs before the event, but I usually limit this to 3 songs and it has to be discussed in advance. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from more than 200 songs in my repertoire or let me choose the music for them. Often we discuss the style and the vibe that the client wants to get, and then I create the most suitable set list according to the request.
