Francesca Turtulici is a professional oriental dancer, teacher and choreographer. After an experience in classical and modern dance since she was young, she has been studying Raqs Sharqi, Arab Folklore and Oriental Fusion since 2006. She also practised classical persian style for a few years. She performs as a solo dancer or with her company in musical parties, arabian dinners, charity events, book presentations and Middle East dance and music festivals and exhibitions. She teaches oriental dance in Rome in attendance and online classes, and she has directed many theatrical dance shows in Rome since 2016 ("OrienteOccidente-Dialoghi in Danza" - 2016, "Viandanze" - 2017, ”The Cairovan”- 2018, ”Heroines” -2019, "Noche Moresca" - 2022).
Her performances include: Raqs Sharqi repertoire, veil dance, sword dance, candelabra dance, fan veils, Isis wings, tambourine and cymbals dance. Her exhibitions range also from gipsy songs to fusion dance like arabic flamenco, tango oriental, hawaian hula.
