Yes, if you need a full quality and a exciting environment yes. Paulo Franco usually brings his own Pro Microphone, and the backing track files to be loaded on your sound system. However, there's some cases that the client wants only a very acoustic unique mood for some entrance or welcome hall, it can be done without sound system. In the case it to be a Band Gig, it only can be done with Sound System.
Thats hard to say, every event has the same importance to me. If we are talking about highly expensive stuff, maybe I could say te Paddock Club at F1 (I've been doing it every year), as well one particular event which I did at Emirates Palace in the presence of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family.
I don't really have a favourite type of event, I am not sure. I do enjoy every gig.

Long playing: When it matters, I will normally send a list to the client indicate what they like or what they don't from there.
Shorter playing: Some events wants to play a few specific songs. So they will pick the exact songs from the list.
And there are also cases that the client will request some specific song which isn't in my list, I can do as long I have time to prepare it.
