Pearce Martins is a British singer, songwriter and pianist who is based in London and Dubai. He is ideally available to hire for weddings, anniversaries, corporate parties, balls, and product launch parties. Alongside his compositions, Pearce can play your favourite songs by well-known artists such as Elton John, Billy Joel, David Bowie, ABBA, Meatloaf, the Beatles, Queen, and many more. He can even bring musical theatre songs to the forefront of his musical acts and deliver an unforgettable and theatrical experience.
Pearce has composed numerous songs, including the release of his single ‘Home for Christmas’ in 2023, available on Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music.
Whilst at secondary school and in university, Pearce has performed in various musical theatre productions. Additionally, he was a part of the school’s Chamber Choir which won the Middle East ChoirFest in 2017, and a runner-up in 2018, as well as performing at Remembrance Services at the British Embassy Dubai and the Poppy Ball, and at the UAE Teen Sports Awards. He was also a part of the Dubai Opera Festival Chorus which performed alongside the BBC Singers at the BBC Proms 2019 at Dubai Opera.
Pearce had previously played in piano performances at gala events at hotels, Open Mic gigs at pubs, as well as participating in various music and talent competitions achieving first place, second place and finalist awards.
Pearce started playing the piano from the age of 10, he has a GCSE in Music and a B in both A Level Drama and Media Studies. He received a Merit in both his Grade 5 and 6 Vocal Trinity Examinations, and a Distinction in both his Grade 5 Piano Trinity Examinations and Grade 8 Musical Theatre LAMDA examinations. Pearce later went on to study Musical Theatre for 3 years at Goldsmiths University of London; he achieved an Upper Second-Class division in his Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Musical Theatre. He is currently finishing his Master of Arts (Hons) in Musical Theatre, also at Goldsmiths.
