Peter K is a professional musician, arranger and composer. He studied music education at Washburn University in Topeka, KS, and studied jazz with Jim Stringer in Lawrence, KS. Additionally, he studied with classical guitarist Garth Cookingham in Topeka, KS.
Peter has worked and performed with Roy Burns drummer from the Tonight Show, Gregg & Matt Bissonette, David “Izzy” Israel of the Fendermen, Jelly Bean Johnson guitarist for Prince, and Kansas. He has performed throughout the USA for decades and continues to do so today as a solo or duo artist, conveniently in most venues.
The repertoire consists of originals in modern style, smooth jazz, Latin jazz, funk with an accent.
