We need a performance space off 10' x 10' to set up a tent if outside. 110 power is nice but all my sound equipment is lithium battery powered. If at a festival having parking near buy for my Trailer and Truck (22.6 feet plus F-150 truck) is nice. 30 amp service and city water is nice but self-contained if necessary.
It is nice to know the demographic of the audience, load in times and parking.
We are completely self contained as far as sound and some simple lighting. Can also use the house / venue PA.
Between sets can play songs from various streaming services that fit the Venue's vibe.
Professional enjoy the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society where I have played with many great players. My actually best gigs are hospital rooms at the VA centers.
Retirement and 55 plus communities and or beach and farm events. I love it when people sing along. I encourage people to come up and sing or play an instrument with me.
I am a Nashville Native and have been playing out since I was 18. I am a former Naval officer (Air and Surface) and played small venues all over the world during leave ashore.
Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, Harry Chapin, John Denver, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett have been my influences for my playing.
I can set up pretty quickly as long as I am just coming up on stage and plug-in to the PA. If I need to set up a complete outside setup, three hours is good or the previous day if at a festival.
I am completely happy to play outside, weather permitting. I have an industrial tent and all my sound equipment is 110 volt and lithium battery powered.
I use an interactive QR code app that lets the audience interact with me on stage and can request songs they like. I play songs from the 50's, 60's, 70's and touch into the 80's.
I have been told my music is fun, causes them to want to sing and generally feel good.
