Highly skilled and experienced highland Bagpiper in full No 1's highland dress (a la Scots Guards), for weddings, Burns Suppers, birthday celebrations, various events and funerals. Late 1st Btn. Scots Guards and now a piper with the Pipes & Drums of the Scots Guards Association (Scotland). Pipe Major David Waterton-Anderson is also steeped in the traditions associated with Robert Burns and is often invited to perform at Burns Suppers. Piping has been instrumental in taking David all around the world and he has an impressive list of cultural exchange visits including France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Poland, Russia, Ukraine & America. He has the honour of being one of only three pipers in the UK to be awarded a state knighthood and he is well known for his sense of dignity and occasion, which always lends itself to any formal event where the day needs to be ‘right.’
