Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Flat, level performance space – Minimum of 6×6 ft for solo setups; more space appreciated for larger events.

Power supply – Access to a standard 120V outlet within 25 feet of the performance area. I also carry a portable power station for outdoor or remote events if needed.

Cover/shade (for outdoor events) – To protect equipment and ensure instrument stability.

Sound requirements – I bring my own professional PA system, wireless setup, and loop station. No additional equipment is needed from the venue unless requested.

Setup time – I typically arrive 60–90 minutes early for setup and soundcheck.

What information do you require about a venue?

Exact Address & Name of Venue – So I can plan travel time, load-in, and parking.

Performance Location – Will I be indoors, outdoors, on a stage, terrace, or lawn?

Power Availability – Is there a 120V outlet nearby, or will I need to use my portable power supply?

Sound System – Will I be using my own PA system or connecting to an in-house sound system?

Setup & Soundcheck Time Access – What time can I arrive for setup, and when does guest access begin?

Cover/Shade for Outdoor Events – Is there a tent, awning, or other protection from sun or rain?

Parking & Load-in Access – Is there reserved or close parking for unloading equipment?

Venue Contact Person – Someone onsite I can communicate with in case of any coordination needs on the day of the event.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

NA

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I bring a professional sound system and can curate a playlist that matches the vibe of your event—whether it's chill background music, romantic instrumentals, or upbeat party tracks. Just let me know the style you're going for, and I’ll handle the transitions smoothly to keep the energy flowing between live sets.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of my favorite gigs was a micro wedding in Carmel-by-the-Sea. It was an intimate celebration with about 30 guests, and the couple made music a central part of their day. The experience was incredibly personal—from curating the song list together to performing by the coast with the stunning California landscape as a backdrop. They left such a heartfelt review and even continue to follow and support me on Instagram. That kind of connection makes the performance unforgettable.”

What's your favourite type of event?

My favorite type of event is when I get to play freely—just going with the energy of the moment and seeing the crowd light up. I especially love cocktail hours where I can flow from soulful '70s grooves into deep rock, indie anthems, and modern pop. When I get to blend all those genres into one seamless set, that’s when I’m at my happiest. It’s all about creating a vibe that feels alive and unexpected.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started gigging at a young age through spoken word poetry, which naturally evolved into blending my performances with violin. Over time, I’ve had the opportunity to perform all across California at some of the dopest venues—from intimate art spaces to major event stages. Every show has helped shape my style and connect me with people in a powerful way.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I’ve been influenced by a wide range of artists across genres—Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, Michael Jackson, Jean-Luc Ponty, Regina Carter, David Garrett, and Bon Jovi all play a part in shaping my sound. From funk to rock, pop to jazz violin, I pull inspiration from their energy and storytelling. It’s tough to pick just one favorite artist, but if I had to choose, Jean-Luc Ponty stands out for how he revolutionized the electric violin. As for the greatest song of all time—honestly, that changes with the moment, but Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is always high on the list.

How far in advance should I book you for my event?

recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance to secure your date, especially during peak seasons. However, I can occasionally accommodate last-minute bookings, so don’t hesitate to reach out and check availability

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I normally arrive 60 to 90 minutes before the performance to allow for setup, soundcheck, and coordination with the planner or event team. For performances, I typically play 1 x 90-minute set or 2 x 45-minute sets, depending on the flow of the event. I'm flexible and happy to adjust the timing slightly to best fit the schedule and energy of the audience.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, I’m happy to perform outdoors. I just ask for a flat, level surface, adequate shade or cover to protect the equipment and instrument, and a nearby power supply (or I can use my own portable power station if needed).

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Absolutely—clients are welcome to select music from my repertoire, request a certain vibe or theme, or send in up to 5 custom song requests in advance. I tailor each performance to suit the tone and mood of the event.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe my performances as captivating, soulful, and elevated—a perfect blend of elegance and emotion. Many appreciate the way I connect with the mood of the event, whether it's romantic, celebratory, or laid-back, and they often mention how the violin added something truly unique and unforgettable to their special occasion.
