Point Five formed in 2010 to play weddings for our friends and relatives. Word spread, and we've refined our performances to suit a range of events. We’ve played for international conferences, universities, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and more, at all types of venue: hotels, burgh halls, student unions, tents, small rooms and big rooms!
We can offer a dedicated caller, who will show you the dances from the dancefloor, and we do non-gendered calling.
Our full line-up includes three fiddles, piano, guitar and dance caller, adjustable according to your needs and budget. We work with you to understand what you want for your event, and we'll tailor what we do to that.
= areas covered (up to 150 miles)Generally a stage area 5x3m, but depends on size of band required. We need power, in the form of a couple of 13A socket outlets near the stage area. We need access to the venue, and its helpful to have a space reserved for our van near the access door. If there is food at your function, please also offer it to the band

We provide full PA, and we have LED strings to brighten the stage.
We can play your playlist through the PA, as well as our own - whatever suits.
1hr set up. Ceilidh is normally two 90 minute sets.
