Founded by Michael Washington and Breezy Cabrera in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Diamonds and Pearls pays homage to Prince without impersonation. Michael, with a background including James Brown and The O'Jays, and Breezy, known for collaborations with Whodini and Betty Wright, lead a 7-member band committed to live authenticity. They faithfully recreate Prince's music, spanning from the early years to hits like "Purple Rain" and tracks from groups he produced like The Time, Sheila E, and Vanity 6.
