Singer, Songwriter, Producer …
Richard was first influenced in his young years by 1960's rock, by King Elvis Presley in particular, often singing for friends and at parties. In 1981, he meets and befriends unknown at the time guitarist Serge Krief who will act as teacher and leader of the group in which Richard was rhythm guitarist.
He listened to and learned from jazz greats, such as Django Reinhardt, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Charlie Parker and many others. For nearly 20 years, he both acted as accompanist and manager for Serge Krief. He played alongside many celebrities such as French virtuoso guitarist Bireli Lagrène, Joe Turner, George Benson and Django's first-born son and renowned gypsy guitarist himself, Babik Reinhardt. He has played major international festivals and clubs around the world and he appears regurlarly on several French television shows.
George Benson himself introduced Serge Krief and Richard's performance at the Blue Note in New York, and the critics were highly enthusiastic. Since that day, a strong and respectful friendship has developed between Richard and his idol and they have remained in close touch since then.
He performed at Vienne Jazz Festival with the Biréli Lagrène Trio and last but not least produced Serge Krief's Acid-Bop Project, featured as special guest for Al Jarreau at the International Utah Jazz Festival that also presented artists such as Nathalie Cole, Phil Woods, Jesse Cook Alchemy, Rick Brown and Regina Carter.
Richard discovered a passion for writing and composition in different styles. He created his own label Flood Records, and even launched a project bringing together international stars of the song. He sings today under his artist name "Richard Aaron" for various events, private parties, clubs etc ... Jazz standards in the spirit of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, George Benson and other famous crooners. An EP (Back To Jazz) should be out on 2017, pop covers of Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, The Bee Gees, Donna Summer and many others, revisited in its way, a sparkling and refined jazz to listen without moderation !

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them
