We are qualified string specialists and have been providing wonderful string music for every special occasion for over 15 years . We play as a string quartet, solo violin or as a string duo known as The Elbow Swingers for wedding ceremonies, civil partnership ceremonies, wedding receptions, parties, and corporate events. We even perform at care homes throughout the North West and love to entertain the residents. We have had the wonderful opportunity to perform at beautiful wedding venues throughout Cheshire and Staffordshire and throughout the North West.
We are dedicated to providing the very best quality and variety of string music including all musical genres to suit all tastes and to appeal to all ages. From baroque to rock and pop, classical to jazz and RnB we hope to create the perfect wedding entertainment with a touch of sparkle to accompany and compliment any occasion.

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We've performed at the Buxton Opera House, the New Vic Theatre and Blackburn King Georges Hall. Great venues and we played with the Soul Brothers Syndicate to sell out nights. It was fabulous.
An Intimate wedding or a full house at the theatre, we are equally happy playing both.
We've played together for over 15 years and love it. We all met playing in an orchestra for a show and as we are fairly local we put the quartet together and worked on a repertoire. We've been adding to that repertoire list every years and its huge! Now we are digital (all our music is on tablets) we can pretty much play any tune you want. Just give us some notice to download the song.

It takes us half an hour to set up. So we play for half an hour as guests arrive for the wedding ceremony. So if your ceremony starts at 2pm we would arrive at the venue at 1pm.
Yes absolutely. We can go anywhere as long as we are not in hot sunshine. We usually require shade and the ground to be level. We have a battery powered pa, so no need for electricity.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
