Quora String Duo is a Calgary-based violin duo with over 20 years of professional experience. Originally from Venezuela and Ukraine, we blend our classical training with contemporary music, creating a unique fusion of styles that captivates audiences. Having performed as a Classical/Electric Violin Trio aboard renowned cruise lines such as Carnival and Holland America, we now offer an extensive repertoire of nearly 400 pieces, ranging from classical masterpieces to modern pop hits.
We are available to perform at a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate events, proposals, private gatherings, and parties. Our performances bring elegance and energy to any occasion, creating memorable musical experiences. Additionally, we are fully equipped with wireless PA systems, ensuring high-quality sound for outdoor events as well.

We need a performance space of at least 2 meters x 2 meters. If the venue counts with PA system we can connect directly to it or we can use our own wireless PA system. One parking space the closest to the venue if possible.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to park and to load in our equipment.

Yes, we're happy to play music from our own and wide Library before, after and between our sets. We're happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
Since we have been working on Cruise Ships the last five years, our best venue has been definitely performing in the Theater for the main executives in the Inaugural Voyage of the last brand new ship of the Company

We are professional classical musicians with more than 20 years of experience and since five years ago we have been performing on Cruise Ships. Our experience is guaranteed since we play everyday, week after week, cruise after cruise for the more of 5000 guests that go vacations on the Cruise Ships!
As classical musicians of course our main influence is being the classical composers: Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Mahler, Brahms. And in the popular world, Michael Jackson as the first! Followed by James Brown, Queen, The Beatles and the new exponents of this era like Bruno Mars, Adele, Christina Aguilera, Coldplay, Maroon 5 among many others!
Depending on the type of event, we normally arrive one hour before the performance to set up. We can perform up to 4 x 45 minute sets with 15 minutes break between sets.
Yes! We love to perform outdoors! However, we ask for a minimum of details to guarantee our comfort and safety for ourselves and our equipment: shade (if possible) and a power supply close to the performance area (in the case of any, we can also use our battery powered & wireless PA system)
The clients are welcome to pick the songs from our repertoire list and If the client needs a specific song we can arrange the music for it, this needs to be discussed several days prior to the event!
