The best gig I’ve ever done was at BARODA. Where I had the incredible opportunity to perform in front of a vibrant, energetic crowd. My favorite type of event to sing at is a marriage celebration, especially when I get to perform Gujarati Sugam Sangeet songs. There’s something so special about weddings—the joy, love, and emotions in the air create the perfect atmosphere for my music. Singing these soulful, traditional songs brings a unique sense of connection with the audience, and I love how the music adds to the beauty and celebration of such an important occasion. Every wedding is a beautiful, memorable experience, and it’s always an honor to be a part of it.

My previous experience includes performing at a beautiful marriage event in Vadodara, where I had the honor of singing traditional Gujarati Sugam Sangeet songs. It was my first opportunity to perform at a wedding of this scale, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The music, the joy of the occasion, and the connection with the audience made it a memorable experience. I started gigging by participating in local events and gradually building my confidence as a performer. Over time, I was able to find opportunities like this one, where I could share my passion for music with others and contribute to special moments like weddings.

I have been greatly influenced by the talented Aashwarya Majmudar, a renowned female singer known for her beautiful renditions of Gujarati Sugam Sangeet. Her voice and deep understanding of traditional music have been a huge inspiration to me, especially in how she brings emotion and soul into every performance. Aashwarya’s ability to blend classical and contemporary styles in her songs has shaped my approach to singing and encouraged me to explore the richness of Gujarati music. Her artistry has not only influenced my musical style but also my passion for preserving and sharing this genre with others.
