Payment must be made in full by bank transfer before the performance or in cash on arrival of the band at the venue/event. A secure and clean dressing room/green room facilities are to be provided (Please note that public or staff toilets are not acceptable). A hot meal/food and soft drinks are to be provided for each band member. For any outdoor engagements, the performing area must be watertight due to the amount of electrical equipment involved. We are not able to perform on grass or matting, a hard floor is required. In the event of us arriving at a venue to find that the performance area is not watertight then another suitable performance area must be provided. The Employer agrees to provide the Artist with a safe working environment and a power supply that is safe and meets or exceeds British Standards. The Employer also agrees to provide or ensure the provision of a minimum of 4 mains plug sockets in the performance area at the venue for the Artist’s equipment. Any less than 4 plug sockets may require the Artist to suitably reduce the amount of equipment used for the engagement. If insufficient electricity sockets / power supply is not available and the electrics trip as a result then the Artist is still entitled to full payment even if they have not been able to perform. The Employer is responsible for providing adequate supervision and/or security at all times.  In the event of threatening or unruly behaviour from any individual, the Artist is entitled to cease the performance and still be paid in full.  Likewise, the Employer is responsible for any damage to the Artist’s equipment (accidental or otherwise) caused by any individual not associated with the Artist. The Employer agrees to provide adequate and safe parking at the venue for 3-4 vehicles, of which two are vans. Should the venue for the engagement not have any parking facilities, the Employer agrees to source a suitable loading area and safe parking for 3-4 vehicles as close to the venue as possible. The Employer agrees to pay any incurred parking costs throughout the course of the engagement. Congestion charges / Road / Bridge / Tunnel toll fees will also incur an additional charge if relevant.
