We are a Folk Band based in Canterbury, Kent and play all styles of Folk Music mainly for folk dancing as for barn dances, English Ceilidhs and Scots Ceilidhs (e.g. Burns Supper dances). We can also offer folk songs and instrumentals for listening to. We welcome the opportuning to play on the mainland of Europe and can offer a variety of languages other than English. Our caller is excellent and calls a really 'fun' evening with nothing too serious. He is also a lecturer in folk dance and music and has written a book of folk dances called 'A Dickens of a Dance' a book of 10 folk dances by Dr Christopher Ransom. We pride ourselves on that 'personal touch', when booked we will keep in touch up the evening of the performance.
