I have been playing Brazilian music professionally for over 20 years (starting back home in Brazil in the early 2000's and developing it in Australia since 2012), and offer an extensive repertoire specialised in Samba, Bossa Nova & MPB (Música Popular Brasileira). I perform regularly at some of the most prestigious venues in Sydney and over the years have held many residencies, providing me with a solid professional experience.
I bring my solo act* to various private & corporate events throughout the year, sharing the music of Chico Buarque, João Gilberto, Tom Jobim, Djavan, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil & more, and it will be a pleasure to collaborate with you on your project!

The setup for my solo act is very simple and I only require 2 channels in a mixer, FOH PA and a foldback, but could also provide my own PA, mics, etc and in this case would only need access to a power point.
With different ensemble arrangements, from duo do 9-piece groups, we'll have with different setup needs.

I have performed at some of the most prestigious venues in Sydney like The Factory Theatre, Lazybones, Camelot Lounge, Foundry616 and have had several residencies over the years.
I love playing at weddings, feel that the music I do matches very well with the moments created during this type of event, but also enjoy very much playing for corporate events, pubs and all types of private parties!
I have been playing music professionally for over 20 years, have done a bit of everything and stepped on several stages, collaborating with numerous musicians here in Australia, but also in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay and Indonesia. In this journey I have explored many formats, doing solo & intimate presentations, creating ensembles of all types with up to 9 musicians and collaborating with Brazilian community batucada/drumming bands of up to 50 musicians. I started gigging in 2006, doing solo gigs that sometimes would go for 7 hours!
I'm very much influenced by Chico Buarque, João Gilberto, Tom Jobim, Djavan, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Rodrigo Amarante, etc.
I usually arrive one hour before the event starts to do the setup and sound check and in most events I play for 1 to 2 sets of 30-45min. During wedding ceremonies I often play for around 30 minutes before the formalities start, then play for the bridal entrance, and again for celebration drinks after the ceremony. I am flexible with the schedule and length of the sets and can adjust to the needs of your event.
Yes, I am happy to play outside and can provide battery operated power if needed.
