As a solo artist I supply my own back line that can be plugged into the from of house PA. It consists of my 100w Amplifier, pedal board, mic and stand and guitars.
I would require 220v power.
I run my own in ear monitors.
Time prior to the event to set up and do a sound check

I provide my own sound and can arrange additional sound gear and lighting as well as engineers.

I have with various bands and solo played festivals, corporate gatherings, bars, pubs and restuarants.
So far the best gig was main stage at Splashy Fen in 2006, we played to thousands and it was amazing, but I much prefer smaller venues and playing acoustic.

My favourite type of event would definitely be a small gathering in a restaurant or similar venue playing to a small audience. I like to interact with the people and the intimacy of a small setting is very appealing.

Music has always been a part of me, I grew up in a musical family and have always had a guitar in my hands. When I started solo gigging in 2023, I played restaurants and bars to gain the confidence and now I play anywhere.

Johnny Cash, but more the American albums... love how he took various cover songs from different genres and made them his own.
I perform a few Cash numbers and like the 'man in black' I make them my own.

I don't particularly despise Backing tracks, they just don't work for me. I do do a bit of live Looping when I want to play some lead guitar in a track and prefer the sound of just an acoustic and a voice .

I can play loads of songs, I have quite a few originals and I do a lot of different cover songs in different genres.
I like to curate a playlist according to the event, Sometimes a slow quiet set is needed and sometimes people want to boogy.

I always wanted to be a cowboy and grew up on the old spaghetti westerns, so when the time came to work on an image I decided that a smart dressed, handsome cowboy would sell millions of records ....

I normally arrive an hour or two before the event, take 15 minutes to set up and sound check and then play 45 minute sets.
I normally play 2 x 45 min sets but can do up to 4.

I am happy to perform anywhere..

Clients definitely have a say in the music choice, I am happy to accommodate and even learn new music on request
