Hi, I’m Ricky Montijo. I offer a one-of-a-kind, live-looping One-Man Band show that blends Soul, Rock, Pop, Latin, and Reggae. Whether you’re looking for mellow background music, acoustic guitar for a ceremony, or a full-on dance party, I’ve got you covered! I create mashups that seamlessly blend songs together, similar to a DJ, but with everything crafted live on the spot—no pre-recordings. I also provide DJ services, so you don’t have to choose between live music and a DJ—I can do both!
With 10 years of full-time wedding experience and 20 years of performing, I excel at reading the crowd. Whether your event calls for modern hits or classics that everyone in the family can dance to, my live show will be a hit. My goal is to offer a unique performance that surprises guests and leaves them saying, “Wow, that was really something special!”

I Spent many of my earlier years opening for Larger Acts such as War, Jefferson Starship, Little River Band, Los Lonely Boys, Ozomatli, Coco Montoya, Robby Krieger(the doors), and other internationally and nationally touring headliners. Now I Mostly do Local (Central Texas) Area events, weddings, and Corporate events.
I Enjoy playing Concert in the park type of events where people show up with Lawn Chairs, Blankets and Picnics!
For a Standard show I set up about an hour before and perform 2-4 hours. I can go up to 8 hours (weather permitting)
I Have a list of my songs I can share with the client and can learn a reasonable amount if not in my repertoire
