The most vital element that sets the ambience, mood and energy for any event is its music. The right kind of music can make all the difference to an event’s success, and that’s where I come in. With an innate knack for music and well honed skills, I have the sensibility to gauge what pleases my listeners.
Having taken a formal yearlong training in Djing from the renowned DJ SpinmasterKaz’s pune based academy, I am no amateur. I have played at numerous prestigious events and these experiences coupled with DJ Kaz’s mentoring have helped me master the art of spinning, swirling, mixing and DJing. I started playing with my in-house collection of mp3s at the age of 16 and have come a long way since then.
By assisting leading DJs like Nikhil Chinapa, Rohit Barker, DJ NYK, DJ Angel, DJ SpinmasterKaz, DJ Augustine, Sanjay Dutta and DJ notorious at many private parties and club gigs, I have learnt the tricks of the trade from these maestros first hand. I possess the ability to play all instruments and am open to all sounds, but I have a strong inclination towards progressive house, progressive trance and electro house.
With an aspiration to carve a niche in the music industry and to fulfill my ultimate dream of producing my own original dance tracks, remixes and commercially released mixed CDs; I recently pursued a course in electronic dance music production from a well know music producer and DJ’s academy in India – DJ NYK. DJ NYK was honored with an award for being the best music producer in 2012 for Bollywood genre and is one of the few DJs who have made their presence felt in Bollywood. Tutoring under his academy has refined my talent and elevated my art yet another notch.
Equipped with this knowledge and a natural sensibility for music I wish to create foot tapping and soul enriching music that my listeners can savor be it DJing or music production.
