A performance space of at least 4x3m, 2 plug sockets, and 3 parking spaces.
Any access information and where to park. An idea of set-up location and a contact at the venue as well. We also need to know if there is a sound limiter or sound curfew and receive any information from the venue about this so we can plan accordingly.
It isn't a problem if there is a sound limiter as we can bring electric drums. We also use in-ear monitoring and no amps on stage meaning that we can have complete control of the volume as the only aspect of the set-up that actually makes a sound are the PA speakers, making us a sound limiter friendly option.
Yes, we are completely self-contained with a professional PA system and lighting rig, only requiring power. We even have a wireless mic if needed for speeches.
Yes, our standard package includes a disco playlist service and we can take requests in the run to the event, creating a custom playlist just for you, as well as taking requests on the night (wifi or phone signal permitting).
We perform 2 hours of live sets (2x1 hour or 3x40 minutes) and take roughly 90 minutes to set-up, with the last 15-20 minutes being a soundcheck at full volume.
Timings for a typical evening party can be as follows:
6pm - Band arrive to unload and set-up
7:10-7:30 - Soundcheck
7:30-9 - Background music
9-10 - Band set 1
10-10:30 - Disco playlist
10:30-11:30 - Band set 2
11:30-midnight - Disco playlist
This is of course not set in stone and can be adapted and changed depending on the plans for your party.
Yes! We do need a power supply close to the performance area and to be under cover, on a flat surface (no grass please), and for there to be a wet weather contingency plan.
Our repertoire list is quite large so I'm sure there are plenty of songs there that you'll absolutely love. We do learn one song which is usually used for the band to perform a live first dance. We encourage clients to look at our repertoire and let us know what their likes and dislikes, then we curate a set list specially for them.
