ROQUE & DEE DEE são os alter-egos do músico e compositor João Diogo Roque e da cantora e compositora Andreia Nunes que se juntam em vários projectos. Ela canta e encanta. Ele toca guitarra e guizos com o pé. Juntaram-se os dois à esquina a tocar os clássicos do soul, blues e funk e nunca mais pararam. Actuam em duo, trio (com sax, banjo, harmónica, percussão ou trompete) ou 4et (com baixo e bateria).

ROQUE & DEE DEE are the alter egos of musician and composer João Diogo Roque and singer-songwriter Andreia Nunes, who collaborate on various projects. She sings and enchants. He plays guitar and jingles with his foot.
The two met on a street corner, playing soul, blues, and funk classics—and never stopped. They perform as a duo, trio (with sax, banjo, harmonica, percussion, or trumpet), or quartet (with bass and drums).

We bring our own PA system if necessary (suitable for small venues and up to 100 guests).
Yes, we’re happy to play recorded music before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose a couple of significant songs :)
We normally arrive 1 or 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 1h30 straight. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 2 songs
