Ruby Joule is a classically trained dancer and actress who has performed her award-winning burlesque and cabaret acts all over the world. She is a founding member and producer of the Jigglewatts Burlesque Revue in Austin, Texas, and an instructor with the Austin Academy of Burlesque. As a burlesque performer she has been called "ravishing" (San Antonio Current), and she is a three-time title holder at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, the pre-eminent burlesque event worldwide, and holds the title of "Miss Tiki Oasis." She was crowned “Texas Performer of the Year” by the Hot Rods and Heels Festival and won “Best Costume” and “Most Original” at the Texas Burlesque Festival, among others. She has been featured in numerous burlesque and variety arts festivals and headlined the Ibiza Burlesque Festival, Toronto Burlesque Festival, Texas Burlesque Festival, Viva Dallas Burlesque, Bustout Burlesque in New Orleans, Peepshow Menagerie in L.A., Hubba Hubba Revue in San Francisco, Le Scandal in New York City, the Rocky Mountain Burlesque Festival (Crested Butte, CO) and was named among the top 30 most influential figures in burlesque worldwide by 21st Century Burlesque Magazine (London) for three years in a row.
