A versatile, conservatory-trained drummer, Ryan studied under the direction of Dane Richeson at Lawrence University. With backgrounds primarily in rock and jazz music, Ryan is able to cover wide swaths of musical territory not limited to rock and jazz, but also funk, RnB, Hip Hop, pop, country, and more. With a passion for live performance and recording, Ryan’s playing is characterized by strong groove and interaction with other players.
