The band Sam’s Fever was founded in the year 2012, for the 35the Elvis death Anniversary with an idea of recreating the music of the King of rock’n’roll through own interpretations.
In the city Bad Nauheim, close to Frankfurt, where Elvis livedand served Army between 1958 and 1960 is European Elvis Presley Festival being held. At 14th edition of Festival, that was held in 2015, hey organised first competition of Elvis music. Sam’s Fever at first entered best of ten and later on 15th of August, they convinced the spectators and the jury and they won the competition. They became the best Elvis performers in Europe and brought the victory to Slovenia.
A day later they played as a support act before TCB band and share the stage with those great musicians: Jamesom Burtonom, Glenom D. Hardin and Ronnie Tuttom. They played with Elvis from the 1969 till his death in 1977.
In the year 2015 they recorded their debute album “About the king”. They played it for the first time on a great gala concert in December 2015. They played at TCB cruise in May 2016 and they hang out with the original musicians. Elvis ex wife Priscilla Presley joined them on a concert and they had a chance to meet her personally.
In the year 2016 Sam’s Fever brand became original trade mark.
Sam’s Fever recorded their first video in June 2017 for the last Elvis hit from 1977 »Way Down«.
In August of 2017 group got special honour, cause they got the chance to play with world famous singer Darlene Love. She sang with »The Blossoms«, that played with Elvis on “68′ Comeback Special” and in the last movie »Change Of Habit«.
In Septembra of 2017 band played a huge concert with Big Band RTV Slovenije in sold out Križanke. They named it »I remember Elvis«.
In January 2020, the group Sam’s Fever, which works very closely with the Elvis Presley Lovers ‘Association “Elvis Friends Slovenia”, celebrated Elvis’ 85th birthday in a very special way. In addition to Elvis pianist Glenn. D. Hardin and Terry Blackwood from “Imperials” were also visited by singers Marry and Ginger Holladay, who recorded more than a hundred songs with Elvis in the studio, including “Suspiciuos Minds” or “In The Ghetto”. and Elvis’ cousin Donna Presley. An unforgettable magical atmosphere reigned at the concert in the “Festival Hall” in Ljubljana.
In 2020, Sam’s Fever had to take a forced leave and had to distance itself from the stage, but they didn’t stand still. During this hard times when it was not possible to perform live, they worked on new arrangements, participated in radio shows, recorded the second video for the song “It’s Your Baby, You Rock It.”
In 2021, however, they started virtually, as the band hosted two online concerts. The first on Elvis’ 86th birthday and the second, coloured with love songs, on “Valentine’s Eve”.
The year 2021 is very creative for the group. They are looking forward for upcoming live concerts, working in the studio and preparing for this years gigs.
