Sax Addict consists of saxophone, synthesizer/keys, guitar, bass and drums instrumentation with male voices. We focus on covering songs that are popular but not overdone. We focus on high energy music that other bands just don't do featuring a high tenor voice and interestering instrumentation while remaining true to the original context and style (for the most part) of the original song. Influences/songs include the likes of Rush, Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, Creed, Alan Parsons, Bo Deans, Imagine Dragons, Blue Oyster Cult, Killers, Offspring and others.

All we need is power (2 standard 20 amp circuits) and space enough for a 4 piece rock band.
Spacial layout. Preferred music genres.
Yes, we are all self contained.
We can play recorded music or online playlists during breaks and before/after if desired by venue.
I would say some of the outdoor festivals were the best due to the audience size. We also like small, intimate clubs.
Any event in which we can rock the house. Not necessarily excessively loud, but high energy audience engagement.
Each of us has been in or played with bands previously. A couple of us are also currently gigging with acoustic duos or solo. We got together to do some creative rock with horns. Much of what we do emphasizes the saxophone in a rock and roll kind of way.
Much influence is classic rock or what was called "arena rock." Each of us had different influences but for me personally (the band leader) my favorite artist of all time is Rush and the greatest song of all time is a little like asking which of your children is your favorite. You can't choose. We love so many bands across time and our set lists reflect many of our favorite songs.
Yes. Our creativity around the saxophone and synthesizers adds a nice touch to our sound and sets. It's a rock band, but a little more due to the instrumentation and arrangements of classic songs.
We need 1.5 to 2 hours to set up. We typically play 3 to 4 hour gigs. Given the setup time, we hate to play less than 3 hours.
Absolutely. Some of our favorite gigs.
Yes, as long as it fits within the genres we play. We can play things impromptu if that is what the owner/client wants.
Here is a direct quote from our Facebook page from a club owner: "Great band. I will have them again." We get many comments like this in person. When venue owners hire us a 2nd, 3rd time etc., that says a lot. Here is a direct quote on Messenger from an owner: " I would be willing to book u guys once a month even 2 per month, Friday nights or Sundays."
