Saxoneo is a tropical Colombian band based around the Belgian saxophone. These original sounds take you on a musical journey through Latin America and world music, with 4 saxophones in the lead role. The band is completed with singers, percussionists, a pianist and a bass player. Saxoneo was founded years ago in Colombia, and now consists of experienced professional musicians rooted in the Brussels music scene. They are ready to introduce you to different cultures in an atmosphere that will make you dance.
Their repertoire exists of Colombian, Cuban, Latino and Belgian classics in different styles: salsa, cumbia, son cubano, guajiras, bachata, montunos, porro, vallenato, puya, currulao and pasillo. Covers of Belgian artists like Angèle or Stromae are also what Saxoneo stands for: combining the best of Latino and Belgian atmospheres, with the Belgian saxophone as their unique sound to these genres.

We need a performance space of at least 10 meters x 5 meters. We require 18 amp power sockets and microphones adjusted to singers, percussion, piano, a bass and saxophones.
What time can we arrive, have a sound check, and what's included (for example, considering food and drinks).
If possible, we can bring a sound engineer and equipment, but we will need to use the places to provide this for us.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music. If a DJ is wished for, we can discuss our possibilities.
We had the opportunity to perform at Sounds Jazz Club in Brussels, a great venue for jazz and world music with a strong social engagement.
We love to play concerts, but are totally ready to adjust our act to new clients!
The musicians have years of experience in several bands. Saxoneo was formed in 2021 in Colombia, working throughout competitions and festivals, towards now being Belgian based with both Latino and Belgian musicians. This unique combination and experience come together in a strong act that will make anyone dance.
We usually arrive 4 hours before our performance to set up and are used to playing parts of 45 minutes. But we happily adjust to our client's wishes.
Yes, outside gives new atmospheres and brings something extra to our show.
We can adjust our repertoire, but cannot promise we could play any suggestion. We are open to discuss the possibilities.
