Once I was asked to play Ed Sheeran's, "Perfect" while the client proposed on bended knee to his future wife. Loved being a part of that special moment!
I enjoy playing events where people are dancing, especially weddings and/or cocktail hour. I love creating a vibe that gets people up and on the dance floor.
Since college I have been actively freelancing in South Florida as a bassoonist, performing with various orchestras in the tri-county area (Miami-Dade/ Broward/Palm Beach). In addition, I have been playing the tenor sax at many parties, weddings, and also along with DJ's at various events.
70's singer/songwriters: The 70's had such a wide diversity of music and artists, depending on which part of the decade the song was written. There are so many fantastic songs that it is very difficult for me to say which is the greatest song of all time.
Although it only takes me about 20 minutes to set up, I prefer to arrive at least an hour before the performance. You never what is going to happen and it's good to have extra time in case you encounter any problems.
Performing outside is fine but do prefer to have a covering and will need a power supply.
I do my best to accommodate client requests.
