Scott Murphy is one of Hong Kong's most in demand and respected musicians. Since arriving in the city in 2018 he has appeared at venues as diverse as Hong Kong Coliseum, Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Freespace West Kowloon. Playing alongside acts such as RubberBand, Hins Cheung, Jasmine Chen and George Lam since moving to Hong Kong he has expanded his musical frontiers with each passing year.
Following living and working in his native United Kingdom and playing all over Europe with a range of Jazz, Pop, Soul and Hip Hop groups (from the likes of Billy Ocean to the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra) Scott decided to make a name for himself in Asia with spells in Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong showcasing him to a whole new audience. CD releases and international tours go hand in hand with regular shows where he performs up to 200 times per year across Asia, Europe and beyond.
In this setting Scott can appear as a soloist with or without backing tracks performing a carefully selected range of Jazz, Pop and Showtunes perfect for a sophisticated event in Hong Kong. Being as subtle or attention grabbing as you require the one consistent feature of his performances is the absolute professionalism on display right from first contact through to actual music performance.
