I am a professional drummer with 15+ years experience playing Florida party(nightclub) music, special events and session drums and 25 years overall. I play everything from metal to pop/R&B to classic country. I am based in Atlanta but regularly travel for work (drums are my job). I am currently in a Honky Tonk cover band in Atlanta but they play about 5 times a year, so no conflict there.
I have a few professional kits to choose from depending on the venue. I use in-ear monitors so no blocks needed. I can read music, play to a click and use stems. Usually bands send me the set list (and version selected/ BPM if different from the recording) and I show up and play, but I can certainly do rehearsal if needed.
