The Texas Gypsies live band are a collection of well seasoned players comprised of Grammy winners and musicians who have backed many of today's top jazz, swing music, and pop performers. Some of which are: The Blues Brothers, The Jacksons, Paul McCartney and Wings, Ray Charles, and Ella Fitzgerald. Also The Texas Playboys, Wynton Marsalis, Ray Price, Tony Bennett, Barbara Mandrell and more!!
They can perform as a trio for background music up to a 12pc Big Band! They are also able to become a party band and play dance music hits from Rock, to Pop, to Country from the 50's-2000's! Both instrumentals and vocal songs
They are known for their unique take on Classic Jazz and Swing music from the 1920's Gatsby era to the 1940's WWII Big band sound (Frank Sinatra- Dean Martin). They also perform the Parisian swing or Gypsy Jazz style (Django Reinhardt) and the Western or Texas Swing sound (Bob Wills). Some of our musicians come from New Orleans and we know the Bourbon Street Jazz songs and Mardi Gras music. The band can even perform Classic Rock, Pop and dance songs adding in a female singerand can even add in Swing Dancers to teach and dance at your event! This "Retro - Eclectic" award winning band has established itself as a classy, unique and fun group perfect for any event!

Performing in Dubai, was an unexpected welcome! Playing for 4th of July festivals with over 10,000 people. Touring the US on a tour of vintage theaters was fun!
All event categories have been fun. It's just a matter of knowing what the clients needs for their event.
We started performing small venues locally as a 4pc band. We kept getting calls to perform at various event and then expanded the band size. We can go from a trio to a 12pc band and have added more styles of music we do to accomodate more events.

Sound man will arrive to set up 3 hours before the vent time ...band can perfrom up to 4hrs
