My favorite type of events are parties and gigs that take place in bars or stages with nice acoustic and and an enthusiastic crowd
My first gigs took place when I was in high school with local bands from my area. I've been gigging ever since wither as a session musician or with my own projects. I also work as a guitar teacher and conductor for ensembles in music schools.
My biggest influences are musicians that come mostly from the jazz world like Charlie Parker, George Benson,Pay Martino etc. But I'm also a big fan of African American music in general being inspired by artists such as Curtis Mayfield,Marvin Gaye,Prince,D'Angelo,Kendrick Lamar etc.
We arrive an hour before the gig to set up. We normally perform two sets about an hour each with a 15-20 minute break in between. We're happy to play a bit longer or shorter but these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
