Shakedown Brothers is made up five seasoned musicians from various musical backgrounds who have combined their talents to provide an energetic and eclectic programme of blues and blues/rock.
The band fronted by 'Slim' Rick serve up a passion filled performance of self penned tunes and lesser known songs from blues masters and contemporary artists along with the occasional classic , all played in the Shakedown style.
Slim accompanies his vocals with electric ,acoustic and slide guitar as well as the harp so the audience can expect anything from soulful Delta to full blown blues- rock with a funky feel thrown in. The recent addition of keys and brass now allows the band to offer the full blues experience.
Shakedown Brothers don't mess around they just get on with the job of providing great entertainment with equally great sounds.
