For wedding Emcee duties, I make it a point to be present for the ceremony as well. This allows me to immerse myself in the energy of the event and connect with your guests, ensuring I can adapt seamlessly to any adjustments you might need for the program. We can meet virtually or in person leading up to the event to discuss your vision, review the program, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
On the day of the event, I always arrive early to familiarize myself with the venue, coordinate with your team, and ensure everything is in place. I’m fully prepared to handle last-minute adjustments or changes, and I thrive in adapting to unexpected situations while maintaining a seamless flow. 1. Sound System
- A reliable PA system with a handheld or lapel microphone (depending on the event format).
- A sound technician on-site to manage audio levels and troubleshoot any issues.
2. Stage Setup
- A clear and visible stage or designated area for the emcee to engage with the audience.
- Proper lighting to ensure the emcee is well-lit and visible to attendees.
3. Event Schedule & Run Sheet
- A detailed run sheet or event timeline provided in advance, including key moments, speaker introductions, and transitions.
- A point of contact (event coordinator or planner) to communicate any last-minute changes.
4. Pre-Event Coordination
- Opportunities to meet virtually or in person prior to the event to discuss the program, tone, and specific requirements.
- Access to the venue for a walkthrough (if possible) to familiarize myself with the layout and logistics.
5. Backup Plans
- A backup microphone or audio system in case of technical issues.

All my gigs are unique in their own way so it's pretty hard for me to say one was greater than the other. The most recent wedding I hosted in Panama City Florida was quite memorable though. The attendees were quite responsive and vibrant and the entire evening was filled with laughter and excitement.

I started Emcee gigs back in 2011 and have done weddings and birthday parties in Jamaica, USA, and Canada.
Im heavily influenced by numerous genres so that's another hard one. Mu soul responds to old school reggae but I'm also a fan of music dated back in the 80s and 90s. This includes souls, R&B, classical, instrumentals, Jazz, gospel etc. I enjoy a wide variety of music from various artistes
