Alberto Parmegiani
Guitarist - composer - arranger - trainer
Alberto Parmegiani began his studies at the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatory
of Monopoli (Bari) with Maestro Roberto Lambo but graduated in
jazz guitar in 1992 while studying at Mannes College of Music in New York City
(now the current new school)
Over the years he has the opportunity to study with: John Scofield, Vic Juris,
Ed MacEachen, Phil Grenadier, Tommaso Lama, Pietro Condorelli, Peter Bernstein
and several others.
From 2004 to 2008 he taught at the "University of Music" in Rome.
In August 2005 - writes and directs for the Banda Municipal di Santiago Cuba made
famous by Wim Wenders in the film Buena Vista Social Club, as part of the festival
of the Crete Senesi in Siena.
From 1999 to today he has performed in some of the most prestigious clubs and festivals
New York, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Brussels, London and other world capitals.
From 2018 he became artistic director of Antonio Martino's A.MA records
