Simone Trovato is a trumpet player, composer and educator. A versatile musician and refined composer, Simone has played in concerts halls and festivals internationally, in the USA, Italy, France, Switzerland, UK and Spain.
He has founded the group Jean Paul Agambi Quartet together with artists Elle and Flavio Ferri, and recently released to EPs with the label False Idols.
Graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston Simone has recently won the Swiss International Music Competition in the category of composition. He has played in Big bands, jazz combo, duos and trios, pop/funk bands, marching bands, classical chamber groups, and for religious services.

I performed in Teatro Puccini in Florence. The theatre was full and the jazz band I was playing in was super tight! It was amazing to perform for such a big crowd in such a historical theatre of Tuscany.
I love playing in weddings with a horn section and make people dance but also in small combos where we can decide the repertoire and entertain the guests with jazz music.
I started gigging when I was 16, it has been 10 years and bachelor degree at New England Conservatory. I played in USA, Italy, France, Switzerland, UK and Spain in many different contexts. From Big bands to small jazz combos, from funk and soul to religious services, from marching bands in Boston to original music projects crossing between jazz and hip hop
