Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

I have performed at a range of events from pub gigs, to weddings, however one of my stand out gigs was performing for the ASICS 10K run in London. It was such a pleasure to perform out in the sunshine whilst cheering on everyone who had come out to run! It was a privilege to be a part of that and provide energetic music to help keep spirits and motivation high!

What's your favourite type of event?

I absolutely adore performing at any event, regardless of whether it is a pub gig, to a wedding or corporate event. If the guests are happy and having a good time singing and dancing along, that's all I could ask for :)

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I actually started off my musical career in the world of Musical theatre, which let me explore a range of different genres such as pop, rock, jazz and classical. Through looking for work, I was introduced to the world of pub gigs, performing as a soloist and fronting a band and I got such enjoyment out of it that I wanted to commit to the gigging scene as opposed to the musical theatre world. I haven't looked back.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Tough Question! I am a massive fan of the 80s, and so give me any Blondie and I will be happy. I also love singing Queen, especially Somebody to Love. No Matter what the event is, if there's some Queen in there, the crowd will be happy!

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I normally arrive an hour before the performance to set up. Usually I would perform 2 x 1 hour sets, however, I am more than happy to work with the needs of the client, whether that's splitting it into 3 x 45 min sets or going for longer.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Always! As long as there is a power supply, and if it is a particularly hot day, some form of shade so that the equipment doesn't overheat.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients are more than welcome to have a look at set lists in advance and choose the songs they would prefer. I am also more than happy to learn requests as long as I have had enough notice to prep them.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers have described my act as a high energy performance that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing.
