The Ohio Sly Stone Tribute Band performs an annual Sly Stone Spring Bash at Natalie’s Grandview Live Music and Kitchen. They have performed this annual sold out concert for over 7 seven years. All other lineups (festivals, special events, etc) are by requests. The band embraces ‘70s styles symbolic to Sly Stone’s eclectic stage presence. The core musicians are an established group of professionals known as the nationally recognized Urban Jazz Coalition (UJC). UJC has produced several CDs over their 25 year career history and performed at major smooth jazz festivals throughout the country. There are three vocalists who front the band with over 75 years combined live performance experience at local, regional, national and international levels. The Ohio Sly Stone Tribute Band reverberates the energy and essence of classic soul and funk of the ‘70s that helped shape the music landscape of today.
