"A Sought Out City" is A Multimedia Dance Band Experience! ....an east coast variety dance band that will make your event amazing! A Sought Out City will travel to YOUR city!
S.O.C. can be "all things" for all musical occasions: with the ability to scale down to a small duo to fit your venue or budget, or full band with professional sound engineer, dynamic lighting and even video... all included.
Strong multiple male and female vocals gives S.O.C. great depth and diversity, as well as supporting instrumentation (with phenomenal lead guitar, bass, multiple keyboards, percussion, flute, melodica, congas, and more). We have state of the art sound equipment with electric drums, no guitar or bass amps (all direct) and no bulky floor monitors, which means no sound issues or feedback. Our sound engineer operates discreetly from an ipad to ensure proper sound quality at all times throughout the event.
S.O.C. performs for various types of venues: private parties, corporate functions, country club events, certain night clubs, casinos, large fairs and festivals and vineyards, and also their area of forte: weddings and receptions. From styles of the best of top 40 current hits, 90's and 80's music, disco, to motown, country (upon requested), big band (upon request), beautiful ballads, we'll provide something everyone will enjoy.
WEDDINGS! ... SOC Entertainment manager can help the bride and groom make their day the most special one, not only by providing entertainment, but also coordinating, emceeing… start to finish. We can provide music for the ceremony (soloist or duo)... background for cocktail hour, dinner hour... then take the next step with getting your guests on the dance floor and keeping them there! Keeping the event flowing smoothly, so that the bride and groom and guests can enjoy their most special day. If you have a special 1st dance song, with ample time provided we'll be happy to learn it; or SOC can help give with some ideas/selections. We can also display special pictures of the bride and groom at appropriate times throughout.

S.O.C. travels to various beaches providing concert bandstand entertainment as well as casinos with high energy show, keeping the dancing going.

Duo requests 10 front to back x 15 wide left to right area. One or ideally two outlets nearby. Elevated stage requested, but not necessary.
Band requests 20 front to back x 30 wide left to right elevated STAGE (16 x 20 STAGE would work). 3 outlets in back, 3 to 4 outlets/power sources in front requested.
However, can reduce footprint space if necessary.
If outdoors, covering requested to protect equipment.
Duo requests 2 hour arrival for adequate set up sound check before start time. (10x15wide area; min)
Full band requests 2 1/2-3 arrival for adequate set up sound check before start time (if using full media/tv's etc...)
